The 85th birthday anniversary of Most Superior Evangelist M. O. Ajao, Representative of the International Headquarters of the Celestial Church of Christ, was celebrated in grand style on Saturday, 5 September 2026, in Ikorodu, Lagos.
The celebration commenced with a Thanksgiving Service at the Celestial Church of Christ, Omo Alade Alafia Parish, Ikorodu, followed by a colourful reception at TNT Events Place, Gberigbe Road, Ikorodu, Lagos. The occasion attracted dignitaries, church leaders, members, family, friends, and well-wishers from across the Celestial Church of Christ, who gathered to honour and celebrate an exemplary leader and elder of the fold.
A major highlight of the celebration was the presentation of a Toyota Sienna Space Bus to the celebrant by the planning committee of his 85th birthday anniversary. The presentation was led by AVSE Bankole Agunsoye and Superior Evangelist Henry Adelakun, in recognition of the celebrant’s years of dedicated service, leadership, and contributions to the church.
The reception was further enlivened by a spectacular musical performance from popular gospel and juju artiste Mega 99, who thrilled guests with his captivating music and added colour to an already memorable occasion.
It was, indeed, a remarkable celebration of 85 years of life, faith, service, and enduring contributions to the Celestial Church of Christ.
